To No Surprise, Pruitt Withdraws from NBA Draft to Return for Senior Season
The Illinois Men’s Basketball Program got some very good news earlier this week when senior big man Shaun Pruitt withdrew from the 2007 NBA Draft and returned to school. As the Illini and Head Coach Bruce Weber could be in for a tough season, the return of Pruitt will at least make the task easier. Here’s hoping that the excellent Weber gets his team to focus less on the three ball next year and rather feed the ball into Pruitt, who is a very efficient scorer on the block when he gets touches and stays out of foul trouble. Because as any Illini fan knows, you can’t count on Brian Randle for much consistency.
