Game 7 Grades: BOS 109 CHI 99
Filed Under Analysis/Commentary, NBA, Chicago Bulls | Leave a Comment
Heading into Game Seven against the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls Head Coach Vinny Del Negro said his team would have to play its best game of the series. Well, the Bulls played arguably its worst game. While Chicago was killed in Game Three, the series was still 2-1 at that point, and the Bulls rebounded well from that game. With that said, Chicago seemed lost for much of last night’s do-or-die game, thus leading to bad grades on this report card.

Great Series Ends on Downer for Bulls
Filed Under NBA, Chicago Bulls | Leave a Comment
After all the drama that was produced in five of the first six games in this surprising series between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics, Game Seven was a letdown, marred by less-than-stellar play on both ends. The Bulls were just a little worse than the Celtics and ultimately done in by a miserable second quarter during which a 10-point lead evaporated into a 14-point halftime deficit as Boston went on a 22-2 run to end the half. Like what plagued them for most of the season, the Bulls were decimated by awful defensive rotations, poor offensive ball movement, and inexperience both on the court and the sidelines.
