In the wake of the death of Chicago Blackhawks Owner Bill Wirtz this morning, Hoops4theSoul remembers a magical time in Chicago: the Spring of 1992. The Chicago Stadium was rocking at that time as roommates, the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, made the Finals of their respective leagues. Michael Jordan and the Bulls would take care of the Portland Trailblazers in six games for their second of three straight titles, while the Blackhawks were swept by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals after rattling off 11 straight victories in the playoffs.
