MANU GINOBLI VERSUS IRA NEWBLE (JUST JOKING)

The Cavaliers Don’t Have a Manu Ginobli Coming off the Bench! The Pine/Pine-Sol® Daniel Gibson Has Been a Pleasant Playoff Surprise for the Cavaliers!

The Spurs use Manu Ginobli off the bench, who is much more of an impact player and energy guy as a reserve than as a starter. Ginobli is the second best player on the Spurs and is very hard to stop from getting into the lane. While a ridiculous flopper, Ginobli is a highly-skilled guy who can hit the three-pointer. When he scores 20-plus points, the Spurs are nearly unbeatable.

The Spurs will also bring in Robert Horry, who needs to retire after this season. While Horry can hit the big shot, he is primarily a goon these days. San Antonio also has Brent Barry, who may give them one solid scoring game in the series, and use Jacque Vaughn, a veteran from Kansas who has been around since 1998 and has been surprisingly effective with his jumpshooting in the playoffs.

Cleveland’s bench consists of the old but steady Eric Snow, who is on his last legs. The Cavs got a huge lift from rookie Daniel Gibson against the Pistons but would be fools to expect similar performances this series. Donyell Marshall is another veteran who can hit the three and get some rebounds while Varejao is a good energy guy who can score some garbage points, rebound and use all six fouls. The Cavs will also play the annoying Damon Jones, who can hit the three and often miss a lot of them.

Advantage: Ginobli and the Spurs

Cleveland does not have a Ginobli coming off the bench. Enough said.
