Gregg Popovich Is Gunning for Championship Number Four! Coach-aholics: Popovich versus Brown Mike Brown Spent Some Time under Gregg Popovich!

Another laugher. Popovich is the best coach in the game. The Spurs have always been good under Popovich, and he knows how to give them a swift kick in the rear when needed. He is one of the best coaches of all time in terms of using the timeout (a subtlety to say the least).

While Brown may have been groomed under Popovich, he’s not in the same league. In my opinion, he’s simply a caretaker of the Cavs, who have a coach on the floor in Lebron James.

Advantage: Popovich

Give credit to Brown for helping the Cavs get here, but Popovich is elite.
